Last night, Real Madrid suffered a 4-2 defeat to Benfica in the Champions League. Los Blancos registered their second loss under head coach Alvaro Arbeloa, just two weeks after being knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Albacete (2-3). The new boss of the Madrid giants once again insisted that the blame lay solely with him.
