Real Madrid has set its sights on Neil El Aynaoui, Roma's central midfielder and Moroccan international, following his impressive performances at the Africa Cup of Nations, reports Sacha Tavolieri.

The 24-year-old featured in every match for Morocco at AFCON, catching the eye of Spanish scouts. They will continue to monitor his displays for Roma in Serie A. Should he maintain his current level, a transfer could be on the cards in the coming months.
El Aynaoui joined Roma last summer from RC Lens for €23 million plus €2 million in bonuses. This season, he has made 18 appearances, scored 1 goal, and provided 1 assist.
