La Liga giants Real Madrid are closing on a remarkable milestone on the financial front. This comes ahead of another imminent cash injection for Los Blancos.

As confirmed by numerous sources on Thursday, Elche star Álvaro Rodríguez is on the verge of a move to England, with Bournemouth.

Owing to the terms of the agreement which sent frontman Álvaro to Alicante from Madrid last summer, Real are entitled to a 50% cut of the initial €25 million fee.

And as much only adds to what has been a brilliant summer to date for those behind the scenes at the Santiago Bernabéu.

High-profile arrivals aside, Florentino Pérez and co. have also been busy recouping significant sums through a series of clauses from prior transfer dealings.

These now total close to €100 million, made up of €60 million for Nico Paz, €20 million for Víctor Muñoz, €12.5 million for the aforementioned Álvaro, and €3.5 million for Mario Martín.
