According to Sport Bild, Red Bull are concerned that Jürgen Klopp will leave his role as Global Head of Soccer this summer to become German national team head coach.
In recent weeks, there has been speculation that the energy drinks company are unhappy with his work, and that he could be removed from the post he took in January 2025. He will not be leaving to manage Real Madrid, but there are internal discussions that he could depart in the summer to replace Julian Nagelsmann, which is considered a real possibility.
He would be replacing Nagelsmann, who extended his national team contract just over a year ago until 2028.
Nagelsmann also intends to see out that deal and not return to club football.
As it stands, it does not look as if Klopp will have the chance to replace him this summer, unless Germany spectacularly crash out of the World Cup for a third campaign in a row.
