The fallout from a clash between Habib Beye and Brice Samba is the main story at Stade Rennais ahead of their trip to face title-chasing RC Lens. Beye has dropped his vice captain from the squad, following the two clashing midweek during the 3-0 Coupe de France exit to Olympique de Marseille.
The 20-year-old Mathys Silistrie will take the place of Beye in between the posts for his first league start. The Rennes academy product made his professional debut this season in the early rounds of the Coupe de France, starting against amateur side Les Sables Vendée Football.

Beye will be blessed with the return of his captain, Valentin Rongier, following an injury that sidelined him for the past two games against AS Monaco (4-0 loss) and Marseille.
