The Senegal international joined Bayern Munich on a season long loan on deadline day last summer, with an obligation to buy.
However, the criteria to make the move permanent won’t be met and Jackson will return to Chelsea at the end of the season.
Jackson has played second fiddle to the likes of Harry Kane and Luis Diaz this season, and his time in Germany hasn’t gone to plan.
The 24-year-old has scored seven goals and registered three assists in 26 appearances in all competitions, but he’s only started ten of those games.
It’s been reported Jackson could be open to playing for Chelsea again, but with Emmanuel Emegha arriving from Strasbourg in the summer it’s hard to see where he fits in.
Jackson is believed to have interest from Italy, and Corriere dello Sport have reported the Senegal international has emerged as a primary target for AC Milan.
The report adds Milan could look to negotiate a loan deal with a “significant” option to buy, but it’s likely Chelsea will seek a permanent exit.

The Blues were linked with Rogers last summer, but a move never materialised, and he signed a new contract keeping him at Villa Park until 2031.
Chelsea are said to be open to signing players with more Premier League experience, but will face fierce competition from top clubs for Rogers.
