Inter Milan are reportedly weighing up a summer bid for Genoa center-back Leo Ostigard amid Alessandro Bastoni’s uncertain future.
According to L’Interista, the San Siro giants have added the 26-year-old to their list of targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
Cristian Chivu’s men appear to be preparing for life after Alessandro Bastoni.
Indeed, the Italian defender could drop the curtain on his eight-year spell in Milan, with Barcelona and Manchester United interested in securing his services.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have slapped a €50 million price tag on their long-serving stalwart.
Furthermore, they’re already on the lookout for potential reinforcements.
While Bastoni could still stay at San Siro, Stefan de Vrij, Matteo Darmian, and Francesco Acerbi are all on their way out.
Indeed, the runaway Serie A leaders have decided to let their contracts run out.
Therefore, they’ve identified several potential replacements, including Bayern Munich ace Kim Min-jae.
However, the former Napoli center-back won’t come cheap.
On the other hand, Ostigard could be available for only €12 million.
Moreover, the Genoa defender has been nothing short of impressive this season, netting five goals in 23 league appearances for the Griffins.
