Inter Milan have identified Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund as a top target in attack this summer.

The Nerazzurri are already right on the verge of a deal for Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny. However, they are not going to stop with the Frenchman.

Hojlund is a player Inter continue to rate highly in spite of two underwhelming seasons with United. And at 22 years old, he is well within their age profile.

A key factor in Inter’s efforts to sign Rasmus Hojlund is their attempt to secure an initial loan deal.

Even after his two tough campaigns at Old Trafford, Manchester United will want a high fee for Hojlund.

Therefore, Inter are hoping to sign the Dane on an initial loan deal. This could contain a purchase option, or an obligation to sign the player permanently under certain conditions.

The Nerazzurri have been working to wear United down on the loan idea in negotiations.

However, so far, the Red Devils have not yet opened up to the idea of loaning out Hojlund. Their intention is to sell the Danish international outright this summer.
