Roma will part ways with sporting director Florent Ghisolfi by mutual agreement, multiple outlets in Italy are reporting, just one year after the Frenchman arrived from OGC Nice.
Ghisolfi, who was appointed as Giallorossi sporting director in the summer of 2024, will leave the club by mutual agreement in a decision that is expected to be announced in the coming days according to reports from Sky Sport Italia and various others.
Multiple outlets, including Gianluca Di Marzio, claim that Ricky Massara, formerly of the Giallorossi and of Milan, is poised to return to the Stadio Olimpico and take over the reins from Ghisolfi as sporting director.
Claudio Ranieri oversees his first training session back alongside director Florent Ghisolfi.
Meanwhile, Roma are also expected to officially unveil new head coach Gian Piero Gasperini at his introductory press conference around midday on Tuesday.
Gasperini will continue to work under the new Roma director and senior advisor to the club ownership, Claudio Ranieri, who has rejected the opportunity to take over as CT of the Italy national team in order to continue with his current duties.
