Ruben Amorim has revealed no injured players will be returning to his Manchester United squad in time for Wednesday’s home match against Ipswich Town.
United welcome Ipswich to Old Trafford, in the return fixture of the game they draw 1-1 in Amorim’s first match in charge back in November.
United have lost six of their last 10 Premier League matches under Amorim and sit in 15th place in the table but will be favourites against struggling Ipswich, who are in the relegation zone.
Asked for an update on his team’s fitness, Amorim said on Tuesday: “I think it's the same.
“Nobody is recovering for this game. They are improving.”
That means United remain without central midfielders Kobbie Mainoo and Toby Collyer, who are expected to be the first players currently sidelined to return to full fitness.
Long-term absentees Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo are out for the season, while Luke Shaw remains sidelined with a calf injury.
Hamstring and lower back injuries are keeping Mason Mount and Jonny Evans out, while back-up goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is missing after missing the FA Cup game against Leicester City with a “knock”.
United came from 2-0 draw to draw 2-2 at Everton on Saturday but will hope to return to winning ways on Wednesday.
