South African international Mihlali Mayambela hit the target as Aris Limassol cruised to a 2-0 victory over Appollon Limassol in the Cyprus League on Sunday.
Aris broke the deadlock just four minutes in, when centre-back Josef Kvida inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.
Mayambela sealed the win in stoppage time, coolly slotting home to ensure his team bagged all three points.
The 29-year-old, a product of the Kaizer Chiefs academy, has now netted three times and registered two assists in 16 matches across all competitions this season.
Aris have climbed to third on the Cypriot top-flight table, collecting 29 points from 14 league fixtures.
Meanwhile, Mayambela's fellow countryman Luther Singh saw his side, AEL Limassol, held to a goalless draw by nine-man Olympiakos Nicosia on the same day.
AEL are seventh on the log with 21 points from 14 matches, and will be looking to bounce back when they take on AEK Larnaca on Monday, 22 December.
