Interim Santos coach Gáston Liendo conceded Neymar was below his best in the 1-1 draw with Corinthians at Vila Belmiro in the sixth round of the Brasileiro on Sunday 15. He was also asked about the prospect of the No 10 being named by Carlo Ancelotti on Monday 16.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the Argentine stressed it was not a poor game either, highlighting Neymar’s commitment and movement, and noting that when the team dipped they struggled to offer him passing options.
