Santos make call on Neymar ahead of Flamengo clash

Santos have set out their approach to Neymar’s involvement for the coming fixtures, with a trip to Flamengo on the horizon.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the forward has shaken off the physical fatigue that kept him out against Cruzeiro, the club’s final game before the FIFA dates break, and is now training with team-mates without restrictions.

The expectation is that Neymar will feature against Remo and Flamengo, the next two Santos matches in the Brasileirão. He is then likely to be placed under load management.

Flamengo v Santos is scheduled for Sunday 05 at 17:30 Brasília time at the Maracanã, in the 10th round of the Brasileirão. This will be his second time facing Flamengo at the stadium since his return to Brazilian football.

Before that, Flamengo visit Red Bull Bragantino on Thursday 02 at 21:30 Brasília time in the ninth round, while Santos host Remo.
