Santos have named their side for the 2026 opener against Novorizontino, with Gabriel Barbosa making his first appearance since returning on loan from Cruzeiro.
According to Diario Do Peixe, Vojvoda keeps the core that ended last season, adjusting for absences and adding in attack.

Gabriel Brazão starts in goal, behind Igor Vinicius, Adonis Frías, Zé Ivaldo and Escobar.
João Schmidt, Willian Arão and Rollheiser form the midfield. The front three is entirely different from the final match of 2025, with Caballero and Lautaro Díaz alongside Gabriel Barbosa.
The coach retains the structure that secured Série A survival late in 2025, and Santos are six matches unbeaten.
Kick-off is at 16:00, Brasília time, at Vila Belmiro in the first round of the Campeonato Paulista.
