Vinicius Jr. finds himself in a tricky situation at Real Madrid under new manager Xabi Alonso this season.
An undisputed starter in the previous regime under Carlo Ancelotti, the Brazilian megastar has already been dropped to the bench twice in five games in the 2025/26 season by Alonso.
The 24-year-old is understood to be dissatisfied with his current situation and feels that his efforts are not being recognised by the new manager.
Amidst this situation, Fichajes reports that Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal are prepared to take advantage of Vinicius’ delicate situation and swoop him away from Real Madrid.

It is no secret that they have been after the Brazilian international for a while now, but things had quiet in recent months. However, his current predicament at Real Madrid has alerted the Middle-Eastern nation.
As such, Al-Hilal reportedly be willing to place more than €100 million on the table to convince both Real Madrid and the player himself. The move would not only be historic financially but also significant in terms of media impact.
Real Madrid see Vinicius as a very important player, but Alonso has sent a message to the Brazilian that he cannot take his place in the team for guaranteed and must step up.
How he reacts to the situation and whether there is progress made in renewal talks – his current contract expires in 2027 – could dictate what Real Madrid decide to do with their superstar forward.
