Inter Milan have moved to the summit of Serie A following a 2-0 win against Lazio at San Siro last night.

Lautaro Martinez provided the breakthrough inside three minutes after a stellar strike, which saw him move to the fourth position in Inter’s all-time scorers list (161 goals).

The Argentine has been in a rich vein of form this season, netting eight goals and two assists in 14 games.

Ange Yoan Bonny tapped home Federico Dimarco’s low cross following a lethal direct play from the Nerazzurri, leaving the visitors all over the place.

The French youngster is proving to be a real deal with his instant impact after moving from Parma in the summer. He has bagged four goals and four assists in just five starts out of 11 games.

After the blip against Napoli, Cristian Chivu’s side have bounced back with four wins on the trot in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Roma recovered from their setback against AC Milan with a 2-0 win against Udinese to stay level on points with Inter in second place.

Although the Giallorossi’s attacking struggles continued, Lorenzo Pellegrini’s penalty before half-time broke the deadlock.

Zeki Celik doubled the lead in the second half to mark his first-ever Serie A goal for Roma.

Miles Svilar produced a brilliant save against Nicolo Zaniolo following a huge blunder from Evan Ndicka to register a clean sheet.

Elsewhere, Napoli’s struggles continued after they were dismantled 2-0 by Bologna.

The Rossoblu capitalised on the Serie A champions’ passive defending to score back-to-back goals in the second half through Thijs Dilinga and Jhon Lucumi.

Antonio Conte’s side are now winless in their last three games and haven’t managed to score in these.

Meanwhile, Bologna have moved to fifth place, ahead of Juventus, and are only one point behind Napoli.

AC Milan squandered the chance to level on points with Inter and Roma after a 2-2 draw against Parma.
