Sevilla announce injury setback | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Sevilla have this week announced a fresh blow on the personnel front in the club’s first-team ranks.

This comes amid confirmation that Chidera Ejuke is set for an incoming spell on the sidelines.

Sevilla were back in action this past weekend, making the trip to Girona for the club’s final outing before the international break.

The aforementioned Ejuke, meanwhile, featured from the off in the clash, from the right wing.

En route to an eventual 2-0 triumph for the visitors to Montilivi, however, the Nigerian was forced into a premature departure from proceedings.

And after Ejuke was not spotted in group training on Tuesday, Sevilla have since provided an update on the wellbeing of the attacker:

‘After having to leave the pitch early in the match against Girona FC, it has been confirmed that he is suffering from a myofascial injury to the hamstring of his left thigh.’

It is currently unclear just how long Ejuke is likely to miss.
