All the latest news surrounding Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday are still waiting for the change in ownership to be finalised after going into administration in October.
Owls supporters have been stuck in limbo for months waiting for confirmation on a replacement to Dejphon Chansiri.
The Thai businessman oversaw significant financial mismanagement during his time at Hillsborough, particularly in the final 12 months of his reign.
This led to the appointment of Begbies Traynor to oversee the administration process, and they named a preferred bidder in December through the consortium led by James Bord.
However, their takeover proposal collapsed in February, which led to the Storch family’s consortium, named Arise, taking on the mantle as the next prospective owner.
Here we look at all the latest news surrounding the Sheffield Wednesday takeover process, as the Storch family await ratification from the EFL…

It has been revealed that former Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has a friendship with prospective new Sheffield Wednesday owner David Storch.
The 36-year-old has responded to the American’s post on X regarding his takeover wishing him well on his journey with the club.
It has raised questions regarding a possible role for the retired footballer at Hillsborough once the takeover goes through.
Bale was previously involved in bids to buy both Plymouth Argyle and Cardiff City in the last year or so, although both ultimately failed to come to fruition.

Sheffield Wednesday have already been officially relegated from the Championship, and the club will be hoping to plan for life in League One ahead of the change in owner.
According to Football Insider, the Owls have their sights set on signing goalkeeper Jon McCracken this summer.
The goalkeeper is set to become a free agent, meaning the Yorkshire outfit will be able to contend for his signature even with restrictions in place.
However, they face competition from Blackburn Rovers and QPR, so it is far from guaranteed that he will move to Hillsborough.
Elsewhere, Sheffield Wednesday are also looking to tie down Aodhan Sopala to a pro deal, via The Star, after he has impressed for the U18 side during his scholarship deal.

Josh Windass departed Sheffield Wednesday last summer through the termination of his contract following the late payment of wages on multiple occasions, with Chansiri’s mismanagement of Sheffield Wednesday at the heart of why he left.
And it has now been revealed by The Star that the forward almost made the controversial move to bitter rivals Sheffield United before instead signing for Wrexham.
It’s believed that the forward’s representatives explored the possibility of signing for the Blades following his exit from the Owls.
However, he was convinced to join the Red Dragons’ project, and he is now set to travel to Bramall Lane this weekend for their clash against Sheffield United on 21 March.

Semi Ajayi has issued a warning to his Hull City teammates this weekend ahead of Sheffield Wednesday’s trip to the MKM Stadium.
The Owls will travel to take on Sergej Jakirovic’s side, and the 32-year-old has warned that the already-relegated team are not to be under-estimated even though they’ve only won one game all season.
"One hundred per cent there are no easy games in the Champ," said Ajayi, via Hull Live.
"We have to be on it.
“We can't drop our levels just because of where they are in the table, because if you do that in this league, you'll get punished.
"We have to be at the top of our game.
“We'll make sure we are.
“I'm expecting a tough game from them.
“We'll be on it, and we'll be ready, we'll be ready for what they have to bring...
“We're just taking it one game at a time.
“Our full focus is on Sheffield Wednesday and making sure we put things right and being at our maximum come Saturday."
