The Saudi Pro League giants will represent their nation in the upcoming Club World Cup later this month, so they would like to make these signings ahead of the global tournament.

Therefore, Al-Hilal’s officials have been holding direct talks with Bruno’s agent who spent several days in the Middle East.

After more than a week of deliberation, it is now up to the 30-year-old to make a decision alongside Man United.

But while previous reports suggested that the former Udinese and Sampdoria star could say yes, tempted by the astronomical figures placed on the table, Sacha Tavolieri thinks otherwise.

According to the Sky Sport Switzerland journalist, Fernandes’ family isn’t convinced by the move to Saudi Arabia, which could prompt the player to reject the offer and prolong his stay at Old Trafford.

Nevertheless, the Arabian giants need a quick answer from Fernandes, and they are willing to splash enormous amounts to sway the midfielder, but would eventually resort to alternative options if they fail to get the green light in due time.

As for Man Utd fans, the vast majority would be happy to keep the skipper who was phenomenal last season, scoring 19 goals and providing as many assists in all competitions.
