Special training session in Montagnetta: identity, inclusion and vision | OneFootball

In the beating heart of the city, at one of its most iconic landmarks, the final event of Inter’s project linked to the launch of the Fourth Kit took place today: a special training session at the “Montagnetta” (Monte Stella), a symbol of rebirth, vision and timeless spirit – values deeply rooted in Inter’s identity.

Taking part in the joint session were players from Inter’s Youth Sector alongside the Club’s Special team, which competes in the DCPS (FIGC Paralympic and Experimental Football Division). The importance of the day was underlined by the presence of Vice President Javier Zanetti, who welcomed the participants with a short address before overseeing the session on Monte Stella, highlighting the significance of the initiative.

Around 30 athletes were involved, guided by Youth Sector coaches and the Special team staff, sharing a moment of sport, inclusion and mutual growth. The Special team is made up of players with intellectual and relational disabilities and is run by ASD Sporting 4E, Inter’s partner since 2017 (the year the DCPS project was launched). Alongside other paralympic football initiatives supported by the Club – Snakes Milano (powerchair football) and Real Eyes Sport (blind football) – the Special team is a fully integrated part of the Inter family and takes part in numerous Club activities throughout the season.

A key element of the project is its link with the Youth Sector’s Educational area: the development pathway for young Inter players includes shared activities with paralympic football teams, with the aim of promoting inclusion in all its forms and combating discrimination through sport.

The event rounded off a five-day programme, during which Inter had brought the Montagnetta to life with installations, music, DJ sets, training runs and special sessions, involving young artists, communities, Legends, partners and Inter Clubs. An experience designed not only for core fans, but for a broader Milanese and international community, united by the desire to look ahead and keep climbing together towards new heights.
