Stade de Reims, sixth in Ligue 2 last season, have signed 26-year-old forward of Moroccan origin Youssef El Kachati from NEC Nijmegen on a contract running to 2029.
The club said in a statement that El Kachati considers the move a significant step, called Reims a historic club with a strong reputation in French football, and expressed gratitude for the trust. He added that he is eager to help the team reach its objectives and share memorable moments with the supporters.

The transfer is estimated at around €2.5m including bonuses.
He scored 24 goals in 43 appearances in 2024-25 for Telstar, helping the club win promotion to the Eredivisie.
Last season with Nijmegen he recorded three goals and three assists in 19 matches.
