Henry Mosquera rattled the post in the sixth minute and set the tempo as RB Bragantino beat Vitória 2-0. The Colombian created four chances to frame a performance that drove the hosts forward.
Operating off the left, he was immediately dangerous, his early strike coming back off the woodwork. From there he kept carrying Braga up the pitch, drawing defenders and opening lanes on that flank.
His supply line told. Mosquera teed up Gustavo Marques to force a high save (22.). Then his whipped cross found Pedro Henrique for a header that was blocked (35.), with Leão da Barra struggling to get out.
After the restart he had an effort blocked from the left side (47.). He threatened again later (62.). He finished with four key passes, four touches in the box, two successful dribbles and two recoveries in the attacking third, numbers that underlined how Massa Bruta progressed through him.
Working combinations down the left, he repeatedly attacked the channel and isolated his marker, keeping Nêgo pinned and ensuring Braga controlled the key moments.
Braga rise from ninth to sixth in the Brasileirão and visit River Plate in the CONMEBOL Sudamericana next. Leão da Barra host ABC in the Copa do Nordeste next.
How high would you rate Mosquera's display tonight?
