Sunderland appoint Jack Bewley as first-team analyst under Régis Le Bris | OneFootball

Sunderland have appointed Jack Bewley as a first-team analyst under Régis Le Bris as they reinforce their Academy of Light staff.

According to Sunderland Echo, he arrives after serving as a first-team analyst intern at Rochdale in the 2025-26 campaign. He previously worked as a set-piece analyst intern at Norwich City, and his LinkedIn lists performance analysis experience with FC Marshalls.

Bewley studied Science and Football at Liverpool John Moores University, graduating with a 2:1. He will combine the role with an MSc in Sport Performance Analysis at the University of Worcester.

The club are strengthening their football operation following promotion back to the Premier League. Further behind-the-scenes growth is expected as the Academy structure continues to develop.

Sunderland host Chelsea at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League this weekend, with a place in Europe on the line for Le Bris’ men.
