Opta's supercomputer has issued an updated projection for the Premier League run-in, setting out a new final table and points. It arrives before Leeds United host bottom side Wolves, with victory able to move Leeds nine points clear of the drop zone.

Leeds are six points above third-bottom Tottenham after Monday's 2-1 win at Old Trafford. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Spurs remain without a league win in 2026 and face Brighton at 5.30pm on Saturday under new boss Roberto De Zerbi.

Fifth-bottom Nottingham Forest, three back, host second-bottom Burnley on Sunday. Fourth-bottom West Ham, four adrift of Leeds, visit Crystal Palace on Monday night.

The model has Arsenal to finish first on 82 points, five clear of Manchester City on 77. Aston Villa are forecast third with 65, up from fourth, with Manchester United fourth on 64. Liverpool are projected fifth with 61 and Chelsea sixth on 57.

The projection makes a strong call on Leeds, with five matches still to come after Saturday's 3pm kick-off. The run-in includes away trips to Tottenham and West Ham.
