Exclusive! How Chelsea have been scouting Alejandro Garnacho for almost 8 years and the scouts had data on him for ages!

We’ve all been hearing about Chelsea’s attempts to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig this summer, and many people have actually probably grown annoyed hearing about it now. However, it’s still an ongoing situation and story, and Chelsea are still very much trying to sign the player.

Matt Law had a big and intriguing update on it this week and it’s also quite a positive one. We all know that Chelsea need to sell Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson ideally first before they can move on and complete the move for Simons and Alejandro Garnacho.

And there’s been some confidence on one of those outgoing deals getting done very soon in a report that came out this morning.

Fabrizio Romano had the latest on his Here We Go Podcast this week. He says:

“For Xavi Simons, I would say that the deal is on a good way to happen. I expect the deal to happen also, because in this case, Simons has been very clear.

“There were several opportunities, but I can tell you, Xavi only wants to go to Chelsea. Xavi made clear to his family, his agents, all the people close to him several times, and also to all the other clubs interested. So Xavi is basically waiting for Chelsea.”

Sounds like it should get done

I think Chelsea are very lucky that the player is waiting for them but seeing as he is, I think this one gets done now. I can’t see it not going through at this point.
