Thierry injured again as Valencia full-back misses Sevilla trip | OneFootball

Thierry Correia has suffered another injury. Valencia's Portuguese full-back has not trained with the squad over the past week and will not travel for tomorrow's match against Sevilla.

As reported by AS, Carlos Corberán said the defender finished the Oviedo game with hamstring discomfort and has not recovered to make the trip.

His absence could hand Renzo Saravia a start, although the coach noted he still lacks match rhythm.

Unai Núñez is another option, having already filled in at right-back next to Cömert and Tárrega, with Luis Rioja offering support down the right.

Filip Ugrinic will also miss the trip after renewed patellar tendon trouble, and he will not travel to the Sánchez Pizjuán. Therefore, Lucas Beltrán could return to the XI after playing a few minutes in Oviedo last time out.

The injuries to Ugrinic and Thierry add to those of Agirrezabala, Copete, Foulquier and Diakhaby, who remain in recovery.
