The final training sessions of the season are underway. FC Barcelona will bring the curtain down this weekend with a trip to Mestalla to face Valencia.

It has been yet another successful campaign for the Blaugrana under Hansi Flick, having won two trophies – the La Liga title and the Spanish Super Cup.

The aim will be to end the campaign on a high by securing a victory against Los Che away from at the weekend.

Ferran, Rashford, De Jong back in training

Building up to the trip to Mestalla, Flick has recovered some important players ahead of the season’s final game.

Indeed, according to SPORT, Frenkie de Jong, Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres are back in training today and could be available for the game against Valencia.

The Dutch midfielder was not included in the squad for Sunday’s match against Real Betis after he did not train on Saturday. According to Flick, he had been dealing with lingering discomfort.

In Ferran’s case, the club released a medical statement citing issues with his hamstring.

As for Rashford, he had also been dealing with muscular discomfort. He was on the bench against Betis but did not play a single minute, having not taken part in training on Saturday.

All three players took part normally in Wednesday’s training session at the Ciutat Esportiva.

No Lamine, Fermin

Heading into the final game of this season, Flick will be without two injured players: Fermin Lopez and Lamine Yamal.

The attacking midfielder underwent surgery this Tuesday on his fractured fifth metatarsal and is expected to be out for around three months.

In Lamine’s case, the La Masia winger, recovering from a hamstring injury, continues pushing hard in order to arrive at the World Cup in the best possible condition.
