The various European clubs have unveiled their squads for the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League. These lists are notable for the absence of several big names.
Having arrived this summer from Brighton & Hove Albion, the Argentine was dreaming of playing in the Champions League with the Blues: "I will have the opportunity to play in the Champions League for the first time, which will be a big challenge," he had declared. However, he finds himself left out of the squad, just like Axel Disasi, Raheem Sterling, and Datro Fofana.
He is the most notable omission from the Spurs' Champions League squad. The former Bayern Munich player did not hide his disappointment: "Today, it's really disappointing, I would have loved to be there. But we can only respect the coach's decision," he said.

The Italian shone at the start of the season, delivering for Liverpool against Bournemouth (4-2). But it wasn't enough to convince Arne Slot, who preferred the young Rio Ngumoha.
The Japanese recruit for Celtic was not included in the Europa League squad, despite having played in three Scottish Premiership matches. For now, he'll have to settle for domestic competition.
Still recovering, the Brazilian is taking his time to come back from a serious knee injury.
Gabriel Jesus will miss out on the joy of Champions League nights, especially with Viktor Gyökeres now leading the Gunners' attack.
