Trabzonspor have moved for Benfica again after signing Sidny Cabral, with interest now in Gianluca Prestianni. According to Glorioso 1904, the club from Türkiye are monitoring the Argentine winger following his eye-catching displays last season.

Benfica are not considering a sale at this stage of the window. President Rui Costa and the football department view Prestianni as important for the start of the campaign amid absences in attack.

With Dodi Lukebakio and Andreas Schjelderup on World Cup duty, his value to Marco Silva’s options increases. He is regarded as a key pick for the Europa League qualifying rounds to reach the league phase, so a transfer is not on the table for now, despite a FIFA sanction.

Prestianni’s strong finish under José Mourinho reinforced confidence inside the club. He broke into the first team and left positive signs that he could take on a bigger role in 2026/27.
