The international break is over, and the Juventus Men’s First Team are back in Serie A action this Sunday, facing a 12:30 CEST kick-off away to Como on Matchday 7.
Looking ahead to the game, Bianconeri boss Igor Tudor gave his usual pre-match press conference on Saturday afternoon. Here’s what he had to say.
“We’ve been working well, we needed to recover a little and the international players have been returning one at a time from their respective national teams. We’ve had two sessions to prepare for Como, which will be a tough game. We’ve huge respect for them, but we want to go there an play our own game.”
“A team has to have an identity, but things happen that force changes one way or another, so a team can’t always look the same because there are always variables. I spend every day thinking about how to get more out of my players.
“[Edon] Zhegrova isn’t feeling well and won’t be called up tomorrow. I think [Fabio] Miretti will be back with the group from Monday on. [Kenan] Yildiz has always played centrally, and he has the freedom to move in search of space where he feels more comfortable; he’s grown a lot.
“It’s normal for a lot to be said about Juventus, it’s one of the beauties of football that everybody has an opinion. A coach knows their players better than anybody.
