DAZN will be Spain’s pay-television home of the FIFA World Cup 2026 this summer, while RTVE will show one match each day.
According to Superdeporte, DAZN will exclusively distribute in Spain the GRUP MEDIAPRO channel carrying all games, available live and on demand.
The tournament runs from 11 June to 19 July across 16 stadiums in the United States, Canada and Mexico. For the first time on DAZN in Spain, fans can follow the entire event live and on demand, including Spain’s campaign.
Óscar Vilda, DAZN’s CEO for Spain and Portugal, described a historic moment for Spanish fans and said the agreement aims to democratise the spectacle, making it more accessible in an innovative, flexible way.
RTVE will broadcast one match on each day of the competition, prioritising Spain’s games and the standout ties. These include the opening game on 11 June at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, key round of 16 and quarter-finals, both semi-finals, the third-place play-off and the 19 July final at MetLife Stadium in New York.
DAZN will confirm coverage and commercial details for the channel across its plans in due course.
