Paris Saint-Germain have qualified for the UEFA Champions League Play-offs. Here's everything you need to know before the draw at 12:00 on Friday 31 January 2025.
After their sparkling victories over Manchester City (4-2) and Stuttgart (4-1) in the last two rounds of the UEFA Champions League's league phase, the capital club finished 15th in the standings.
There are two key points to be taken from this finishing position: firstly, PSG will be seeded top when the draw for the play-offs is made, meaning that they will play the return leg on home turf. Secondly, Paris Saint-Germain's two possible opponents are the teams in 17th and 18th place, namely AS Monaco and Stade Brestois.
Paris Saint-Germain will therefore be contesting an all-French play-off.
The draw will determine PSG's opponents for this play-off, and the dates on which the two legs will be played. The first leg will be played on 11 or 12 February, with the return, at the Parc des Princes, a week later on 18 or 19 February.
The draw for the Round of 16, and after that the quarter-finals and semi-finals, will take place almost immediately afterwards, on Friday 21 February.
