Valencia hint at fire orange strip for La Liga retro round | OneFootball

Valencia could revive their 1991-92 orange shirt for La Liga's retro round during the 12 April trip to Elche at the Martínez Valero.

According to AS, the league will unveil the retro matchday tomorrow, with vintage kits and other nods to bygone times.

The proposed orange kit would closely resemble the original, still with Puma as technical sponsor, while retaining the club's current commercial advertising.

The club have not yet confirmed they will wear this model, though they teased the idea on social media, posting 'Del naranja al fuego' alongside an image of a 90s computer floppy disk.

Sempere, Leonardo, Robert, Fernando and Lubo Penev will not take to the pitch, but a touch of their era could be felt if the tribute goes ahead. Further updates are expected in the coming hours.
