Vinícius Júnior responded on Instagram after being subjected to racist abuse during the match against Benfica.

The Real Madrid star condemned the cowardice of his abusers:

Racists are, above all, cowards. They have to put a shirt over their mouths to show their weakness. This is not the first time for me or my family.

He also criticized the penalty he received following his goal celebration:

I was shown a card for celebrating a goal, and I don't understand why. Rules that are poorly enforced serve no purpose. After such an important victory, this is not what we should be talking about.

Vinícius Júnior emphasized that despite these incidents, the focus must remain on the game and his team's performance.
