Vipotnik converts two penalties as Middlesbrough hit back

Swansea City 2-2 Middlesbrough at the Swansea.com Stadium on Monday, with Zan Vipotnik scoring two penalties and Tommy Conway earning a point, a result that lifts Swansea from 16th to 15th in the Championship.
Alex Bangura put the visitors ahead in the 12th minute, lashing in from the left after Tommy Conway's pass.
Liam Cullen won a penalty after Bangura's foul, and Vipotnik converted from the spot (20.).
Bangura then departed injured for Finley Munroe (34.).
Eom Ji-Sung drew another penalty after Sol Brynn's foul in first half stoppage time, and Vipotnik converted in the fourth minute of first half stoppage time. The Slovenian is now on 20 goals, first in Championship scoring.
Callum Brittain was fouled by Eom Ji-Sung to win a penalty, and Conway levelled from the spot (75.).
Boro carried the threat, registering 29 attempts with six on target and 65.3% possession. Swansea dug in, making 55 clearances and finishing with 12 attempts.
Boro remain third. Swansea visit Leicester next. Boro host Portsmouth next.
