Welcome our new signing Grace Clinton at City’s first home match of the Barclays Women’s Super League season against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The England international joins the Club from Manchester United on WSL transfer deadline day.

A member of the Lionesses’ victorious Euro 2025 side this summer, she moves to the Joie Stadium with a reputation as one of the WSL’s top young talents.

At 22, she was selected in the WSL Team of the Year for 2024/25, one year after being named PFA WSL Young Player of the Year after a successful loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur.

And Clinton will be hoping to continue her rapid development at the Joie Stadium, playing in front of our home fans for the first time on Friday 12 September at 19:30 (UK).

As well as seeing some of the WSL’s top talent such as two-time Golden Boot winner Bunny Shaw and the league’s record goalscorer Vivianne Miedema, exciting new faces such as Jade Rose, Iman Beney, Sydney Lohmann, Laura Wienroither and Eartha Cumings could also make their Joie Stadium bow.
