Ryan Mason could make changes to his team after the setback of successive league losses. After opening the season with a four-match unbeaten run, the Baggies have lost to Derby County and Middlesbrough in their last two.

Mikey Johnston and Josh Maja are pushing for recalls to the starting side, with the latter restricted to four substitute appearances so far this season. Maja was West Brom’s leading scorer last season with 12 Championship goals but has struggled for minutes since the arrival of Aune Heggebø.

Toby Collyer and Alfir Gilchrist are also hopeful of starting tonight’s clash.
