West Ham United have announced signing of England youth international Ria Bose.
The 19-year-old defender came through Chelsea's academy before making the move to Portugal when she joined Sporting CP in 2024.
However, Bose found regular game time hard to come featuring just once as a late substitute in a 2-0 win away to Torreense. After having not made an appearance this year, Bose has returned to England and joined West Ham United on a deal until 2028.
"I’m so happy to be joining West Ham United," Bose said. "I know that West Ham is going to help me progress as a player. This is a new beginning and the next step in my career.
"I bring a lot of energy. I’m an attacking full-back that likes to get up the pitch but I also pride myself on my defending too.
"West Ham is a big Club with a rich history. It’s an exciting project here which I’m looking forward to being a part of. I can’t wait to get started."
Bose is new manager Rita Guarino's second January signing after Estelle Cascarino joined on loan from Juventus.
