Leeds United’s 2026/27 Premier League list is out, yet widespread changes are expected. Daniel Farke’s side start at Nottingham Forest at 3pm on Saturday 22 August, and while 36 of the remaining 37 gameweeks are movable, the final day at Crystal Palace on Sunday 30 May is fixed.
Fixtures sit in weekend or midweek slots, including five Wednesdays, with others defaulting to 3pm until TV intervenes. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Sky can switch to Friday, Monday or Super Sunday, while TNT holds Saturday lunchtime.
Traditional Saturday 3pm kick-offs are increasingly rare. Leeds played just 10 of last season’s 38 matches in that slot. European involvement also forces shifts, as clubs playing on a Thursday typically move to Sunday or Monday, with four such sides due in 2026/27.
The league has pencilled in decision windows. Weeks commencing 13 July for August and September, 24 August for October, 21 September for November, 19 October for December and early January, then 30 November, 21 December and 18 January for late January to March, 22 February for April, 29 March for late April and early May including Gameweek 35, 5 April for Gameweek 36, and Gameweek 37 after the FA Cup semi-finals.
Delivery has been mixed. August changes arrived on 9 July, September on 23 July, while Christmas and Boxing Day came two weeks late. Short-notice changes are likelier if clubs advance in Europe. Leeds’ March trip to Brentford was moved to 8pm on a Saturday, then confirmed on 9 February.
