Wolves, who have often felt VAR decisions go against them, benefited from an incorrect call in their 2-2 draw at Brentford.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the Premier League’s Key Match Incidents Panel later ruled the hosts should have been awarded a penalty.
Brentford were 2-0 up in the 41st minute when Kevin Schade was held by Andre. It was not given on the field and VAR did not intervene.
The panel deemed the holding sustained and voted four to one in favour of a penalty. They also said the threshold for a clear and obvious error was not met, so VAR was right not to step in.
Wolves recovered to draw 2-2 with goals from Adam Armstrong and Tolu Arokodare, in their last game before a three-week break.
Arokodare hit the bar late on as Wolves nearly snatched all three points.
