Wolves ‘interested in’ Holsgrove, Walsall ‘set for’ Reece Smith medical | OneFootball

Wolves have enquired about Estoril’s Scottish midfielder Jordan Holsgrove, who is valued at about £three million, Record writes.

The 26-year-old has also been linked with Charlton Athletic and German clubs Werder Bremen, FC Augsburg and Hamburg. Werder are allegedly still in talks with the Reading academy graduate.

Holsgrove scored once in 35 appearances for Estoril in all competitions last season and has previously been with Celta Vigo, Pacos de Ferreira and Olympiacos. He played under Wolves head coach Cesar Peixoto at Pacos in 2022-23.

Harrogate Town winger Reece Smith is reportedly having a medical at Walsall and is close to completing a move to Bescot.

Smith missed friendlies against South Shields and Doncaster Rovers, with manager Simon Weaver saying his absence was injury-related.

The 24-year-old joined Harrogate in summer 2025 after six years at Maidenhead United, where he scored 23 goals and provided 17 assists in 162 games. He made 52 appearances for relegated Harrogate last season, registering three goals and seven assists.
