Wolves have been mathematically relegated from the Premier League, confirmed with five matches still to play.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the club's fate is now sealed. A 3-0 defeat at Leeds at the weekend was followed by Spurs conceding a late equaliser at home to Brighton, which offered a brief reprieve, before West Ham's point at Crystal Palace on Monday ensured the drop.
It ends an eight-season stay in the top flight that began under Nuno Espirito Santo, whose squad earned promotion and delivered consecutive seventh-placed finishes, a Europa League quarter-final and an FA Cup semi-final.
Recent seasons have brought relegation battles, with the club hampered by recruitment mistakes and missteps from the hierarchy.
Head coaches Gary O'Neil and Vitor Pereira were sacked across the last two campaigns, while chairman Jeff Shi left in December after a damaging summer and a dreadful start to the season.
Rob Edwards took charge in November but did not spark an immediate upturn, and January business was used to prepare for the inevitable reality of relegation.
