Zakaria Labyad moved into Corinthians’ top five scorers this season after netting his second for the club in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Atlético Mineiro at Neo Química Arena.
As reported by Meu Timao, the Moroccan joined at the end of February. He now shares fifth place on the 2026 list with two goals.
Labyad came off the bench at the Casa do Povo. On 43 minutes of the second half, Matheuzinho crossed and the No 52 finished first time.
Only Yuri Alberto, on six, Gustavo Henrique, on four, and André Luiz and Breno Bidon, with three each, are ahead in the tally.
Also on two this year are Kayke, Jesse Lingard, Dieguinho, Gabriel Paulista, Raniele, Matheus Bidu and Rodrigo Garro.
João Pedro, Gui Negão, Memphis Depay, André Ramalho, Vitinho and Matheuzinho have scored once apiece.
Corinthians finish their Copa Libertadores group on Wednesday, 27, hosting Platense at 21:30 at Neo Química Arena. They are already through to the last 16 and have secured top spot.
