Zakaria Labyad has moved into Corinthians’ top five scorers this season after netting his second in the 1-0 win over Atlético Mineiro at the Neo Química Arena.

According to Meu Timao, the Moroccan now shares fifth place in the club’s scoring chart.

He came off the bench and, on 43 minutes of the second half, met a Matheuzinho cross with a first-time strike to secure the points.

Signed at the end of February, Labyad’s two goals leave him behind Yuri Alberto on six, Gustavo Henrique on four, and André Luiz and Breno Bidon on three each in 2026.

Also on two are Kayke, Jesse Lingard, Dieguinho, Gabriel Paulista, Raniele, Matheus Bidu and Rodrigo Garro.

João Pedro, Gui Negão, Memphis Depay, André Ramalho, Vitinho and Matheuzinho have scored once apiece.

Corinthians return on Wednesday 27 to complete the Libertadores group phase, already assured of top spot and a place in the last 16, hosting Platense at 21:30.
