La Liga giants Barcelona have sent a team of scouts to Chile, for the U20 World Cup.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have early this week provided an insight into some of the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

World football’s next crop of up and coming talent is currently vying for the title of U20 world champions in South America.

A whole host of players have impressed over the competition’s early weeks, in the process piquing the attentions of some of European football’s leading clubs.

One such outfit come in the form of the aforementioned Barcelona, who have employed a scouting team to watch over the Chilean showcase.

And along the way, the Blaugrana have been keeping a close eye on a a long list of players.
