Manchester City have learned their fixture schedule for the 2025/26 Premier League campaign and it can be revealed when the Blues will come up against the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

City failed to win a fifth straight Premier League title last term as Arne Slot led Liverpool to their second league crown in six years, with Arsenal finishing just ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side in second although failing to challenge the newly-crowned champions.

Rodri suffered an ACL injury in the early stages of the campaign to mark the beginning of what Guardiola has himself deemed to be the most challenging year of his career, with the Ballon d’Or winner leaving a glaring gap in central midfield for nearly the entirety of the campaign.

Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden failed to showcase their best selves – the former joined Napoli on a free transfer at the end of his City contract and Guardiola will be hopeful of the latter returning to the form that secured him the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award in 2023/24.

Injuries, a collective lack of form, too big a reliance on Erling Haaland to deliver the goods in front of goal, and years of unparalleled success saw Manchester City understandably take their foot off the gas last season.

However, the club have switched up a few gears early into the summer transfer window following the quartet of new arrivals – Rayan Ait-Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki – to launch a new era at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola signed a new two-year extension in the fall of 2024 and Manchester City also saw Haaland commit his long-term future to the Blues as the Norway international penned a sensational 10-year contract that will run till the end of the 2033-34 campaign.

Pepijn Lijnders and James French have joined in as Guardiola’s assistant and set-pieces coaches respectively – with Kolo Toure also part of the coaching staff for the FIFA Club World Cup – after the departures of Juanma Lillo, Carlos Vicens and Inigo Dominguez.

Manchester City are ready and raring to go for the Premier League title next season and Guardiola will be delighted with the intent shown by the board to introduce new personnel and freshen up the squad and coaching ranks so early into the summer transfer window.

The Premier League have released the 2025/26 season’s fixture schedule on Wednesday morning, with Manchester City travelling to Molineux for an opening weekend clash against Wolves scheduled for 17:30 on Saturday 16 August, live on Sky Sports.

As for perhaps Manchester City’s most notable games against local rivals Manchester United, as well as expected Premier League title challengers Arsenal and Liverpool, such dates have also been confirmed.
