Leeds United fans packed Elland Road for the FA Cup fifth round against Norwich City. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the home crowd were in full voice.
Daniel Farke accepted a one-game touchline ban for a rare red card shown after the full-time whistle of last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester City, despite not agreeing with the decision.
The sanction applied to Sunday’s tie as Leeds looked to reach the quarter-finals for the first time in 23 years.
Norwich arrived top of the Championship form table across the last nine games, yet were readily brushed aside by Farke’s side despite nine changes.
A full house of 36,213 watched on, with fans of all ages filling the famous ground. Yorkshire Evening Post photographer Steve Riding captured 39 images of the United support, including the manager among the crowd.
