📸 A tale of two penalties not given this week as Atlético denied 👀 | OneFootball

Arsenal are hanging on to a 1-0 lead against Atlético de Madrid and may have been given a helping hand by the officials. Twice. 

In the space of just four minutes, Diego Simeone's side had two very questionable penalties not given, the first of which involved his son, Giuliano. 

The forward did very well to latch onto a long ball that William Saliba had failed to deal with. Just as he was about to round David Raya, Gabriel appeared to stop him from shooting. There were arms involved, but nothing was given. 

Shortly after, the Brazilian defender was at the centre of another claim, kicking an Atlético player while clearing a ball but winning a free-kick. That it came right before Riccardo Calafiori took down Antoine Griezmann made it all the more controversial. 

In Arsenal's defence, they will claim Griezmann fouled Leandro Trossard in the first half, and they may just have a point. 

After the discourse around penalties awarded last week, there will be more about those not awarded this week. 

Can Arsenal hold on or will Atléti eventually break them down?
