Karim Adeyemi has most likely played his final game for Borussia Dortmund.

Following widespread reports that the 23-year-old is set to join FC Barcelona, Dortmund have confirmed that the forward has been granted permission to hold talks with another club.

As a result, Adeyemi was not present for the start of Dortmund’s pre-season preparations on Sunday.

Kjell Wätjen, who is reportedly close to joining Danish side FC Midtjylland, was absent for the same reason.
