According to Goal.com, Al-Hilal are exploring a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembélé this summer, with early enquiries lodged and initial contact made with his agent. Any formal talks are understood to hinge on the player’s approval.

The Riyadh club’s financial power has grown since 70% of their shares were transferred to Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, with the Saudi Investment Fund holding the remaining 30%.

The pursuit is framed as another marquee addition after Crysencio Summerville.

Dembélé, 29, broke through at Rennes before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2016, then moved to Barcelona in 2017 for 148 million euros after Neymar’s exit, a spell hampered by injuries.

He returned to France with PSG in 2023 for 50 million euros and has since won the UEFA Champions League in each of the last two seasons and the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

His PSG record stands at 61 goals and 42 assists in 135 matches, and his contract runs until 30 June 2028.
